Sounds simple\, right?\n\nStarting at 6:30 p.m.\, Saturday\, July 4\, in downtown Canton\, the CTCC will host an evening of Fourth of July family events including a Watermelon Eating Contest for children\, the First Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest for adult men and women\, the Fourth of July parade and a spectacular Fireworks Show put on by the City of Canton.\n\nSONIC of Canton is sponsoring our very first Hot Dog Eating Contest and we are anticipating a great turnout for the event.\n\nThanks to SONIC\, we are going to create a great event with a grand prize of $500.
