Holiday Magic -
Canton Fire Department – Christmas for Kids mission statement:
Each December the Canton Fire Department conducts its Christmas for Kid's Community Outreach Program to assist less fortunate children and families in Canton and the surrounding Van Zandt County area.  The program is funded through donations from our Christmas for Kid's boot drive along with donations from citizens and local businesses. All funds are used to provide gifts, clothing and food for local families.  The majority of the children and families come to us through our partnership with Canton ISD school counselors. Additional families are taken on as funds permit. Each year the Fire Department Members and their families volunteer their time to shop for each child and family
