Military & 1st Responders Appreciation Day

May 18th is Armed Forces Day. The new VFW Post 12219, of Canton, Texas is sponsoring the 1st Annual East Texas Military & First Responders Appreciation Day honoring the uniformed heroes that serve and protect our Communities both at home and abroad.  The program honors the sweat, blood, tears, risk, commitment, endurance and integrity of service to our neighbors, friends, families and freedom lovers in our great country and others. These heroes serve all!
 
Military and First Responder vehicles and aviation assets to be displayed, along with Vendors, Historic Exhibits, Veteran Support Groups, The Freedom Truck, Vintage Autos/clubs, Texas Fallen honored, Military Recruiters, and above all Welcome the Patriotic Families of East Texas.
